We look round for the best ingredients, because if everything that goes into your lunch is high quality, then the end result will be high quality.
Freshly hand made – today
So that you know your sandwich is fresh, we only sell sandwiches we made today. Supermarkets and other sandwich companies will tell you that their sandwich will last for a few days, which could well mean that they made it yesterday, or the day before! But you know your Heavenly sandwich is fresh because we made it today and delivered it in a refrigerated van.
Local produce, wherever possible
When possible, we always buy local produce, from local suppliers. This means that you are contributing to the local economy instead of some national or global chain. It also means that your food hasn’t travelled hundreds or thousands of miles before we’ve even bought it. It will be fresher and it’s better for the environment.
We recycle
We recycle as much of our waste as we can – cardboard, tins, bottles & jars. Even some of our left over fruit & veg goes to a compost heap!
5 a day
We make it easy for you to eat your way to 5 portions of fruit & veg a day. In fact, if your lunch was made up of a heavenly soup, a heavenly salad and a piece of heavenly fresh fruit, this would be 4 or 5 portions!
Home made fillings
We don’t use ready-made fillings. We make all of our own from real ingredients, unlike some sandwich companies we could mention! All of our salads and soups are home made – it tastes better and it’s better for you.
